Designing a complete 0 → 1 product that made complex query building simple, and created new business value for Mention
Standard Alerts is Mention’s advanced monitoring feature that helps users track brands, competitors, and keywords across the web and social media through customizable Boolean alerts.
Before this project, users could only create basic keyword alerts, limiting flexibility and business upsell potential.
I led the end-to-end design and product development of Standard Alerts, introducing Boolean logic (AND, OR, NOT) through a simple, no-code interface.
The goal was to make complex monitoring accessible to everyone: increasing product depth, improving accuracy, and unlocking a new Pro Plus plan for advanced users.
Beyond UX, I contributed to product strategy, business alignment, and metrics tracking, ensuring that every design decision served adoption and measurable growth.
The product was launched publicly on Product Hunt, gaining strong traction, user feedback, and visibility for Mention.
